Mizuno

Mizuno is a Japanese sportswear equipment company founded in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno. They have since evolved into a global corporation that sells running shoes, baseball, softball, golf, and rugby equipment, not to mention many other sports. Originally based in Osaka, it has opened branches in many places, such as Tokyo, Nagoya and Kyoto. Full scale production of Mizuno goods began in 1914, and a second factory was opened in 1943. In 1964, Rihachi Mizuno gave each of his employees 25 shares in the company.
